Hey everyone, it’s been a while since the last real Earthbound progress update, so I figured it was high time to show you guys a little of what we’ve been working on. Many of you have been wondering what the status of Episode 6 is, and why it’s taking so long to complete. There are a number of reasons why this episode is taking so ridiculously long, but the biggest reason is that the amount of visual effects work required for this episode has been more intense than any previous Earthbound episode. In addition, we’ve been splitting our time pretty evenly between Episode 6 and The Midnight Con, which is now in its post-production stage.
Rest assured, though, that we are still working on this episode, and we’re being very careful to make sure that we don’t rush the visuals. That being said, here’s some proof that we’ve got something to show for the excruciatingly long time that it’s taking to finish this episode – some screenshots!

Two new videos for you guys today. First off, we have the debut trailer for our feature film project from last summer, The Midnight Con (formerly known as Three Day Weekend).
Right now, it’s looking like the film will be complete sometime later this year.
Next up is a behind-the-scenes look at our recent short film, Slender: Scarier than Real Life?

Well, seeing as the world didn’t end, we unfortunately weren’t alleviated of the responsibility of running this website. But let’s not grumble – 2012 was a great year, filled with lots of fun and funny videos from your homeboys at Ridgway Films! We’ve compiled a pretty comprehensive list below of nearly everything we released this year, so you can revel in past classics, or perhaps discover a hidden gem you missed the first time around.

Recently, we released a sequel to our Minecraft: Greater than Real Life? video from last summer, but this time, we tackled the phenomenon of Slender:

Next up, the Part Two DVDs finally arrived and have been shipped! And it’s not too late to get your hands on a rare prop prize included with your DVD!
Just as a warning, though, we’re very close to selling out of Part One DVDs, and I don’t know when we’ll be reprinting more… it may be a while.
